I'm recently going through playing the series again on PC and producing content for my YouTube channel. But, I'm wondering everyone's opinion on the film grain effect in the game. All I can see everywhere I look is film grain. Games without an option to turn it off, makes me sometimes not play a game all the way through. I really do hate film grain. Either hdr on or off the film grain is there. You eyes and/or your TV are deceiving you.

This needs a fix asap as there are certain games where you cannot turn off film grains (appearently like far cry primal). There’s usually an option to turn film grain and/or chromatic aberration off. Might not be there at launch, but probably best to assume it will be there at some stage. Sharpening can help improve image quality in games at the native resolution (or higher) as well, especially in games where post-process anti-aliasing is used which tends to blur the image.
